Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026 ·  Effective immediately

We built this app to protect your privacy. All AI processing happens on your device — we never transmit your speech or personal data.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the Pass US Citizenship Test 2026mobile application ("App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our USCIS civics test preparation app on your iPhone or iPad.

By using this App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

1. On-Device AI Processing (Apple Core ML)

The Pass US Citizenship Test 2026 app uses 100% on-device artificial intelligence powered by Apple Core ML to evaluate your spoken answers during citizenship interview practice.

  • Speech processing stays entirely on your device. Your spoken answers are processed locally using Apple's on-device speech recognition and Core ML — never sent to any external server.
  • No audio recordings are stored or transmitted. Voice input is processed in real time and immediately discarded after evaluation.
  • No personal speech data is ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party AI service.

2. Information We Collect

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Your name, email address, or contact information
  • Voice recordings or transcriptions of your spoken answers
  • Your USCIS test scores or progress data (stored locally only)
  • Device identifiers beyond what AdMob requires
  • Location data

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using local storage:

  • Your quiz progress and answer history
  • Study session statistics and performance scores
  • App preferences and settings (language, accessibility)
  • In-app purchase status (ad removal)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. Google AdMob Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain anonymized, aggregated data to serve relevant ads, subject to Google's own Privacy Policy.

AdMob may collect:

  • Anonymized device identifiers (Advertising ID)
  • General location (country/region level)
  • App interaction data for ad relevance

Removing Ads: You can permanently remove all advertisements by purchasing the ad-removal option via the in-app purchase available within the App. Following this purchase, no AdMob data collection occurs.

For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Local Data Storage

All your progress, scores, and preferences are stored locally on your deviceusing Apple's standard storage frameworks. This data:

  • Remains entirely under your control
  • Can be deleted by uninstalling the App
  • Is included in your iCloud backup if you have enabled it
  • Is never transmitted to our servers

5. Children's Privacy

This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. This app is designed for adults preparing for the U.S. naturalization process. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Third-Party Services

Beyond Google AdMob (described above), this App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or data collection services. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third parties.

7. Data Security

Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, your risk of data breach from our systems is effectively eliminated. All data remains secured by Apple's iOS security framework on your personal device.
